Warehouse Coordinator (Shipper/ Receiver)

Classification: Full time

Wage range: $22-$30 dependent upon experience


Job Summary

Ensures the warehouse runs efficiently, providing proactive, on-site support to service and installation teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Monitors stock materials, organizes warehouse storage and efficiently schedules deliveries with customers (homeowners and construction builders).

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Receives supplier trucks, stows product and accurately processes paperwork
  • Schedule and deliver sold products to jobsites as requiredPrepare materials and products for the Install and Service Teams prior to their morning departure.
  • Assist Service Techs and Installers with tasks as directed by the Service Manager.
  • Help receive, process, and organize deliveries to the warehouse.
  • Ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Maintain a well-organized inventory system throughout the warehouse.
  • Ensure the warehouse and service areas remain clean, safe, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Assist customers with product pick-ups.
  • Participate in required training sessions and health and safety meetings.
  • Perform general property maintenance, including snow removal from entrances and trucks.
  • Promptly complete various shop repairs such as re-screening.
  • Adhere to all company safety, attendance and behavioral policies and expectations.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with all team members, supervisors, and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Financial: Accuracy in shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Customer Focus: Year-over-year improvement in customer satisfaction.
  • Installation Job Prep: Consistent and reliable product/material support for installers.

Requirements

Skills, Qualifications and Expectations:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction, building trades, or a similar industry with a service focus.
  • Previous experience in service, warehousing, coordination and career focused.
  • Post-secondary education in construction, building, or business is an asset.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Computer fluency, including proficiency with Microsoft/Google applications and willing to learn other Company software as needed.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, working overhead, bending, walking, standing, reaching, etc. Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability in effective problem-solving and conflict resolution.
